Thanks David, the example you provided doesn't have the nice collapse effect ! Do you think jQuery could iron out any quirks that this menu has, or strictly JS will only work ?

mobile. And even with js transitions can be problematic for Android.
This is a CSS only method that may? work for you with transitions and
max-height:

Hi, the following effect <http://cssdeck.com/labs/navigation-dropdown-with-flip-effect> is not collapsing on iPhone and it's not opening or collapsing on WP8.x. I can't say whether it works on Android as I didn't test on Android ?
