I saw the show  too and felt that it was, in some way, an effort  to ease
the public thinking into the view that the X Files are not all that crazy.
How much of it was disinformation is hard to evaluate.  Interesting though,
that a major network would air this with an obvious seal of approval from
the powers that be.
