The powerlessness is entirely due to people or situations which are outside your control. By definition. > just > like they dine on MacFood and blame their obesity on "big bones", a > genetic conspiracy. One has more power over what they eat, than what is presented to them as candidates. > Why, some years I exercise my franchise so much, it's plumb > wore out... The farther down you go, like state or city elections, the more one's vote counts. > > But let's say that you're right, that voting is rigged, it doesn't > matter, that The Conspiracy determines all the outcomes. There is only a political system dominated and controlled by the rich for the rich. It's not any more mystical than that. > Was the fix in when > ex-Gov. No. Not at those particular times. But definitely yes when they ran in the big leagues. Barbara Boxer became a lying pig as her disgusting defense of her relative Bill Clinton clearly showed. > Is the fix in when > voters approve measures to cut property taxes, recycle, disinvest > in dictatorships, build schools? You are NOT making a choice for who is better for you or the country. If this comes as a surprise to you, then you are pretty dense. If all you want is to feel idealistic and collect a warm fuzzy, then don't make the rest of us pay for it. If the 2000 election comes down to Shrub and Algore, then you couldn't ask for a clearer example for not voting. Both come from ruling elite political dynasties. But come from the upper (?) class. Both are rich. Both are Globalists. Both are capitalists. Both are running from the middle. Voting is a fraud when there are no real choices between the candidates. Why legitimize this fraud and put the awesome power of the US Government into the hands of someone who you know is screwing you? It is positively stupid and self defeating.
