You answer your own question.  Where this document and hatred of the Jews is
concerned people will believe exactly what they want.  There is no evidence
that the Protocols are a real document.  There is no evidence that the Jews
are the leaders of the Illuminati and bent on subjugating the "goyim" to
their sinister will.  There is no evidence that the Jews are out to get us
(this refers to the people as a whole since everyone must acknowledge that
there are SOME bad Jews out there who do want to do these things, just like
there are bad people in all groups).  YET, people continue to believe it is
all true because "someone told me" or they just "know" it is so.
