You know, it's never made any sense to me either, but the people with money
run things, and they seem to have to be entertained lavishly. At some point
during all that folderol, decisions are made that (inshallah (as the Turks
say) are for good rather than evil. I guess it works out the way we might
wish sometimes. Still I don't know how you feel, but I get the feeling I'm a
pawn in a game I don't really like. Prudy
