I didn't say that they weren't; what I DID say is that an inverted
pentagram did NOT have an 'evil' or 'satanic' purpose at that time, only
that it was used as a means to direct divine energy from above to the earth
below; the 'evil/satanic' allegation is solely a 20th century invention...

I'd also like to see CONTEMPORARY proof that either Dee or the Templars did
any conjurations, and if they did, what exactly either used. Twentieth
century revisionist musings do not warrant as 'proof'...

>what are you covering up for june ??

I'm covering up nothing, only reporting the facts...

>what I've just reported about the
>history of magic is common knowledge

With what PROOF?

>are folks on this list so stupid that
>they've never heard of the templar persecutions,

Oh, not only have I heard of them, I'm actually on the Templars email
list...

But just because the Templars were accused of witchcraft does not mean that
they actually did so; there is no contemporary, objective proof to sustain
the allegation...and even if the Templars DID practice witchcraft, there is
nothing that shows exactly what those practices entailed, especially in
regards to pentagrams, inverted or otherwise...

>or the inquisition witchcraft trials

Again, just because the Inquisition prosecuted and persecuted people who it
accused of witchcraft, does not PROVE that the victims of the Inquisition
indeed practiced witchcraft, nor if any of them did practice witchcraft,
what the exact practices were...

>or even john dee ?

As far as I know, Dee was never accused of Satanic practices or of doing
evil? Only with practicing magick?

>The hexagram was known to biblical intellect

Proof?

Historical evidence shows that the supposed "Seal of Solomon" dates perhaps
as early as the Middle Ages, but more likely from Renaissance times; it
most definitely does not date back to biblical times....
