The ominous trend here is increased docility. The state cannot afford to acknowledge that there is no defense from attacks by people who are ready to sacrifice their lives. That makes state weak and unfit.
Odd as it may seem, several more real attacks would probably make the air travel go back to normal - the absurdity of current make-believe would come into the spotlight. The anti-government attack now would be far more effective than three months ago - simply because the government did all the theatre it could. The attack now would demonstrate that all these fascist measures are ineffective. That is exactly why the attack will not happen. Think about it. If you sacrificed 20 people in the first one, doesn't it make sense to sacrifice 20 more and finish the job, if the job was indeed defeating the US government ? Something tells me that it was not.
