Forgetting about the git aspect for a moment, I'm strongly in favor of a 
DVCS-centered site. That is, +1 to bitbucket, github, gitorious, ++, and 
-1 to SourceForge, Google Code, etc.

It is simply much nicer to let people create a personal feature/bugfix 
branch with the click of a button, and work with pull requests of those 
branches within a website and tracker designed around that, than having 
to send patches around manually in the ticket system.

One ticket, one branch :-)
