If I know I'm working on a draft I tend to record something like this at the end of the session: darcs record -ma 'draft: Foo' Then at the end of the next hacking session I can: darcs amend-record --edit-long-comment If it's finally ready then I can remove "draft:" from the patch name and send it in. Sometimes you have to unrecord and record small patches. Your mileage may vary. I like to believe maintainers are unlikely to apply patches that say 'draft' in the name.
