I'm not sure I understand the messages here
what does [M] mean ? missing ?
IIUC, the original ebuild works and compiles the internal lua (there is a
lua enabled message)
you have a modified ebuild that tries to link against a system lua5.2
library and that one fails. That was expected, gentoo does not provide
lua5.2 which is why gentoo builds should use our internal library.
i'm very suprised by lua/preferences.c:81: error: 'pref_element' has no
member named 'string_data'
that's a generic C error that I should have had here... moreover it's in a
code area I havn't touched for quite some time.
could you help me figure out what's going on ?
