gentoo-versioncontrol:
M:hard masked ebuild. means: you may install this version but there are
some flaws. may mess up the system, mostly security things, unstable.
i translate it to 'bleeding edge', 'you have been warned'
'dont do this at home'

i couldn't dive into this too deep, its during coffee-break @work.
and my former gentoo-pc @home is in silicon heaven...

not me! its dt's source: look into the packaging/gentoo directory of the
source tree...

this ebuild asks for lua5.2 (its in portage but not installed on my
system due to hard masking) and disables the usage by setting
appropriate flag.

conclusion: best not to ask for 5.2 and let your autodetection do the
job. prefer gentoo original ebuild!

Mac: snowleo, macports development environment, dt git version:
first it's an ancient system du to old macbook(2006?) hardware.
(anyway apple provides updates as seen yesterday, its alive, *happy*)

is terrific. i try to catch a log... pls be patient!
