Hi Pascal,

Looking for advice on this.

I have done my first real print on my Epson 3880 today from Linux. The
image looks ok on my calibrated screen. The softproofing looks fine too
with the Epson Premium Luster photo paper .icc.

As you described I have embedded the profile with:

> tificc -v -o printer.icc -t 0 darktable_export.tiff raw_print.tiff

But... The print is awful :(

Printing the raw_print.tiff above I have a very visible pink/red cast.
Printing darktable_export.tiff I have a very visible yellow/brown cast.

Printing what done with EOG as you suggested.

Taking the darktable_export.tiff and printing from Lightroom with the
paper/printer profile I have good result.

Maybe it is the gutenprint linux driver which is not that good?

So maybe I need to create my own printer/paper profile?

Do you have recommendation for this? Does a colormunki will do the
trick? Is it usable on Linux? Or do you have a service on the Web which
will create a profile for me?

Thanks a lot in advance.
