I have this issue with my R3000 too, this _might_ be due to tuning issues
in Gutenprint (it's tuning was done againast a R2880 IIRC, which might
behave a bit different to a R3000 or R3880).

A purpose built ICC profile can correct for this, but at least in my case
the correction is fairly severe, so I'm trying to work with the Gutenprint
devs to get a structural solution, instead of working around it locally.
