Dear All,

I recently submitted my new lens data (a Sigma 18-250) and now I
have a nice, perfectly working profile thanks to Torsten Bronger (did I
say thanks? thanks!).

Today a finally solved a puzzle that made me crazy in the last days
and that I think shows, if not a bug, an unexpected behavior of DT
lightable.

My lens is not automatically detected (for whatever reason, the
Tamron 18-250 got detected instead[1]), so I have to choose the lens
manually (which, really, is not a big problem). So what I did was ---

     1. edit photo1, select the lens. Wow! [2]

     2. go to lighttable, select photo1, paste Lens Correction history

     3. select all (all photos in the album were shot with the same lens)

     4. paste lens correction.

-> horrible results; most photos where more deformed than without it.
But then I discovered why: the "paste" apply the correction with the
focal lenght of photo1... so it is wrong for most of the other photos!
Is this normal? If yes, is there a way to apply the lens correction to a
bunch of photos or I have to go one by one and select the correct lens?

Thanks!
           Romano

[1] With my LX5, sometime it got automatically selected (Leica/Standard,
it's not a ILC), sometime no. Could be because with different aspect
ratios the camera has slightly different crop factor?

[2] Correction is very nice, both geometry and TCA. One surprising thing
(for me) is that the TCA sliders does not move --- they are still at 0.
I think that either they should be set to the values fetched up
automatically (if you want to allow a user fine adjust), or grayed out;
now the first reaction is to think that the TCA correction has not be
applied.
