I was puzzled by this at first since I had not been seeing it. Discovered it
exactly as described in the full listing of mail headers which I do not normally
display in my mail client.
So this is certainly the problem for these frustrated unsubscribers. They do not
see the full header. In many cases they likely do not even know it exists -- or
if someone suggested they view it, how to do so.
Don't get me wrong. I *like* not having all that "You are receiveing this
because... Here's what to do if..." stuff cluttering up each post. But perhaps,
in recognition of those less-adept folks who give the list a try for a while,
the single line "For help with this list, send a blank message to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]" at the top or bottom of each post would be a helpful
preventative.
