What is the dbmail log telling?
If you set TRACE_LEVEL to 5 dbmail wil exactly explain how it is recursively traversing the aliases table into finding the right delivery. It will first try to find the delivery for that address. If it doesn't find it, it will strip everyting from before the @ and tries to find any domain forwards (@domain) for delivery. If that doesn't show any result it will give up and create a bounce. This code should be without any bugs..
