Ah. But your not trying to debug and maintain a totally miscreant, adhoc mimeparser as present in 2.0. Believe me: it's a major pain in the neck whereas using gmime/glib is just great fun.
however after sum wasteoftime compilation did work successfully. although i hate non binary requirements since this makes automation even worse. ;)
