and since (iirc) ten years Debian Edu only consists of packages in Debian main
of that same release, so Debian Edu is 100% pure Debian and AIUI a Debian Pure
Blend.
#311188 is about upgrading packages and there are historically some probs cause
we have made the packages doing configuration changes which only the
administrator
can made, thus those upgrades fail. And this, as you wrote almost 21 years ago
(I've looked at the bug now again, after all :) ...this is a violation of Debian
policy, but (AIUI, not looking that up now) is not a violation of the Debian
Pure
Blends definition, as any Debian (Pure Blends or not) release will have policy
violations.
So AIUI Debian Edu is a Debian Pure Blend according to the definition you gave
in this very thread. :)
