It doesn't matter if there is a dhcp server anywhere if the client - your VM - doesn't use dhcp.

You appear to have the staza correct as are using static rather than dhcp.

No further action required.

However, beyond this you will probably need some dns services. This can be in the form of entries in /etc/hosts file or you can specify a dns server in /etc/resolv.conf
