Can I remark that the getPropertyInfo changes seem a tad bit incidental to be
bundled into this JIRA issue?
Not that I'm complaining; the docs definitely need a good scrubbing from time
to time.
But I'm intrigued: I think you're referring to this feature?

I'd never read that before, and I'm fascinated. It looks like it was in the
original docs as they came from IBM, doesn't it?
