Hi Darran,

I've got the similar problem with you when I tried to build scourge from 
SFE. It notified me "Video mode set failed: X11 driver not configured 
with OpenGL" during startup. Maybe I also need to rebuild SDL by myself 
and try again. Anyway, it's no harm to enable OpenGL I think.

It's still painful due to the GPL license restriction even if we have 
the license to distribute a patent/copyright decoder. The exception have 
to be added for each of them to the gstreamer backend with GPL.
