Good. You can run SXCE b109 today and get all of what you need in a 'supported'
and modern desktop environment (i.e. GNOME 2.24) and OpenGL 2.1 accelerated HW
support for XVR-1200 graphic cards.

"I bought XVR-1200 to have better video as NVidias have on x86 architecture,
but here on SPARC, I neighter can set up the resolution nor screen savers...
The Xorg does not work at all. I have gnome on gui of course but would like
more - dual desktop might be with advanced features."

Well, about 2-3 years ago a bunch of us figured out that Xorg was good for
the future but XSun had all the drivers of SPARC graphic hardware. So, today
you can use XSun with all the support you need for the XVR-1200. If 3D graphics
are not your thing, then Solaris 10 can handle the majority of your needs today
- minus the modern desktop environment and more updated OpenGL 2.1 API.

Xorg on SPARC does not really warrant updating all of the legacy drivers 'just
because' as it is not in most companies best interest in ROI today. You can use
XSun and do mostly what you need today. If you need more then you are better of
with a x64/Nvidia solution which is heavily 'driver supported' today.
