OK, that makes more sense, left to my right ctrl key is my right alt key which does not do anything. I want to set it to the compose key. > > > Is there a Gnome preferences dialog to assign the > compose key to > > another key as in Linux or do I have to modify > xorg.conf for that? > > I know it can be set in xorg.conf. Yes, I set it like this in xorg.conf: Option "XkbVariant" "compose:ralt" But in Linux Gnome there is a tab in the "Keyboard Preferences" Dialog called "Layouts" where every user can set it for themselves without have to modify xorg.conf. In Opensolaris Gnome this tab is not there? That is why I ask. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
