Look at wikipedia, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNOME , JDS [1] is 
actually mentioned as an example GNOME desktop. So when we call it 
OpenSolaris Desktop, we are just 'branding' it, not calling it by a 
generic name. c.f. Fedora/Novell/Ubuntu.
