My list of desired features/programs are as follows (forgive any duplications)-

-ATI drivers (either trying to convince AMD port their proprietary one *AND/OR*
port the open-source ones. This is not a high-priority for me anymore as I
recently purchased an Nvidia card)

-Creative X-Fi support (Creative open-sourced their driver awhile back, Linux
is just now getting support for these cards. I don't own one, but a friend of
mine does and he wants to use OpenSolaris)

-Cairo-Dock (and its extras)

-KDE (GNOME is nice, but I prefer KDE over it)

-Asunder (multi-codec CD ripper written in Gtk+)

-aTunes (iTunes-like media player written in Java)

-have packages in IPS reflect program version number (e.g. GIMP 2.6.x)

-have IPS detect similar packages in different repos* (e.g. if I install GIMP
from the default repo, and then check the dev repo, it doesn't realize that
GIMP is already installed from default repo)
*Not sure if this is a bug or just a missing feature
