It would also be useful if you could do the following: Brian, so it happened today again and I filed a new bug for this as its likely not #13208 Bug 13627 - GDM: unable to authenticate user error windown appears on the inital login screen http://defect.opensolaris.org/bz/show_bug.cgi?id=13627 you'll find 2 pictures attached to the bug showing the problem that happened just after boot.
