I think I have the same question as Karl. What you've described sounds like the vision for Firefox OS and the next logical iteration of what we've been doing. Any given release needs someone to lead it, but I'm not clear why we need new IRC channels and wiki pages? Isn't this just 2.6.. 3.0?
