I somehow managed to flash 2.1 on a ZTE Open and it's kind of working. I guess 
it should even run 2.2 if enough effort is put in building the image. Though, 
the ZTE Open is (in my opinion) a most unfortunate device and I wouldn't know 
what to do with that. That is, I wouldn't even know whom give it away to. I 
assume it now has no value as a platform for development. Is there any possible 
use for such a device?
