Fortunately, geolocation clients probably won't be affected by fake data because the fake data probably won't match the cell tower or Wi-Fi MAC addresses clients see in the real world. :)
And even if someone feed fake data into the database (which is inevitable), the service geolocates clients using multiple cells or Wi-Fi APs so any bogus outliers that appear far away will be filtered out.
