Hello,

I've been working with the V2.33 client and have bumped into
some minor items. Some of them I just wanted folks to be
aware of, but one of them has me completely stumped!

Anyway:

- The "use vars qw" section at the top of manage.cgi and
reg_system.cgi (and, probably, register.cgi) is missing
a crucial hash name. You need to add "%RACESETTINGS"
to this list in order for the scripts to work properly.

- In manage.cgi, a module (Storable.pm) seems to have been
omitted from the package. Once the above fix is in
place, I get the usual login screen. But enter a domain,
username and password, and the script will die complaining
that it can't find Storable.pm. Neither can I.

[EMAIL PROTECTED] has been notified of the above items
this evening.

Now, here's the one that's got me bumfuzzled:

When I run reg_system.cgi, it comes up with the three options:
Register, Transfer and Buy a Cert. If I enter a domain name
into Transfer, of course it will fail (I'm hitting the test
server). No worries.

If I follow the link to buy a cert, it seems to work fine.

But if I enter a domain name into the registration box and
click the button to check availability, all I get back is
a blank page. It's got HTML headers and such, but there's
absolutely no content. Whazzup with that? A thorough search
of the archives revealed nothing of value for this particular
problem. Any thoughts?

FWIW, I'm running on Windows 2000 Advanced Server, latest
version of ActivePerl, all necessary modules installed. I
was working with V2.31 and it was doing OK, so this is
something new to V2.33. Have I missed a required module??

Regards,
Eric Longman
