This happened to me when I had copied the new templates over as root. My
umask is 027, so world can't read anything and the default group was root as
well. The scripts never complained of read errors. Since the http headers
are written out by the scripts and are not in the template, you get valid
blank pages. When I changed the group for the files to my apache user, all
worked again. So, check the permissions of the template files...
