Gee, you're worried about upsetting me?

Frankly, I'm kind of amazed that you're so thin-skinned that you labelled
the original message a flame, but hey, whatever floats your boat. Flames
are in the eye of the beholder.

The original post was (and the subject is still) about making the OpenSRS
client work on NT.

It does. There are quite a few running it, and there are quite a few who
are very happy to provide hosting on NT.

As I said, it's up to you to host on whatever platform you choose. I don't
think you should use any specific operating system, I think you should use
the one that works. I suspect the best way for a Unix shop to begin
hosting on NT is to hire an NT guy -- and I think that may be the best way
for us to go if we decide to do more with Unix.

I do have respect for those running Unix and variants successfully -- they
have a knowledge and a skill that I do not have. I know how to make NT do
what my customers need, and I'm willing to share if I can.

I enjoyed the "punk" comment though -- no one has called me a punk in the
last 30 years. Makes me feel younger.

Now, if you'll excuse me I'm going to mix a little Vodka with my Geritol
and go raise some serious hell down at the Senior Center.

Listen punk, I said "WE" had problems, not YOU. Get over it.
