This statement has been bothering me... ActivePerl on Windows running the standard client code is a "pure Windows OS implementation". i.e. the language perl has a windows port in the same sense that C and java and other languages do. I suspect you mean something different by this statement, so perhaps you should define what you think "pure Windows OS implementation" means.
