ActivePerl on Windows running the standard client code is a "pure Windows
OS implementation". i.e. the language perl has a windows port in the same
sense that C and java and other languages do.
I suspect you mean something different by this statement, so perhaps you
should define what you think "pure Windows OS implementation" means.
I might be willing to compromise and accept including an OCX/COM and/or DLLs but so far the only thing anybody has suggested is,

and at $600 a pop it ain't gonna happen. This page also says this COM only runs on Windows 2000 with service pack 2+ ....
If thats still not clear enough just tell me were the deficiency is and I'll try to fix it.
