Yeah. Lots of nasty Internet vulnerabilities have results from applying
that to crypto protocols and formats. I know, I've had to fix 'em!
Agreed. We don't really like Postel's rule in security work. For us it
is more likely, be precise about what you send and precise about what
you accept.
