Huge +1, thanks JB for purposing this idea. >From my perspective, there is an active community continuously answering questions from users, listen to feedback to implement bug fixes and features improvements … etc. It doesn’t quite fit the description of current section on the website.
Furthermore, in my opinion, such wording on the website can potentially hinder community growth by giving the wrong impression that ActiveMQ classic is in maintenance mode and community should work on Artemis instead. However, these two broker engines have different architectures and both have its pros and cons. I can see why some people (me included) want to work on ActiveMQ classic. I hope maintainers of ActiveMQ can provide clear wording and instructions on the website to promote organic growth within both ActiveMQ Classic and ActiveMQ Artemis. This step I believe, is the right step forward.
