Hi, I think the most important part of the statement is "Both are active, both have a roadmap, both have users/community."
So +1 for the PR. regards, François fpa...@apache.org francois.pa...@openobject.fr Le 12/11/2024 à 11:03, Jean-Baptiste Onofré a écrit :
Hi folks, A few months ago, I created a PR for website: https://github.com/apache/activemq-website/pull/127 The purpose is to remove the "flavors" section on the homepage, as I received questions from users (they are confused by this section). Following ActiveMQ Classic 6.1.4 vote, I again received questions from users (different users) who are confused. As suggested by Justin on the PR, I'm bringing this discussion on the mailing list. From my standpoint, as a matter of fact, we have two sub-projects in the ActiveMQ TLP umbreless: - Artemis - ActiveMQ Classic Both are active, both have a roadmap, both have users/community. I don't see one replacing the other, or at least the users will decide. So, I think we have to be clear for our users about that, from a community perspective. I propose to remove the section as proposed in the PR, and also clearly state that both subprojects are active, the users have the choice. Thoughts ?
