I want to concur with Daniel and Damian, that the key behavior for SLA should be based on when a DAG or task _should_ have run, not when it actually started. I think that’s important from a semantic standpoint, but also I think it’s just an important behavior to have in Airflow, because that’s how organizations’ requirements are often stated (e.g. this report ready by 7 AM).
