In continuation to the below two threads discussing new best practice
proposals and the accompanying Ruff rules,

(replace task.branch with task.short_circuit)
I'd like to start a lazy consensus ending in ~71h (10 AM UTC 23/03/2026)
to approve these proposals and move ahead according to the guidelines,
which means adding them to the Airflow docs and merging the associated
Ruff rules.
