(But just your original patch that > displays the online user manual, let's leave out the Wiki for now from F1.) You know, that brings the manual to the users, but I'd like to get some process going, where the users return their problems, experiences etc. That's why I'd like to add the tabs for forum and wiki. So they could ask for help without ever leaving argo at all. Or maybe even contribute... I already wrote it in a mail to Thomas, but let me explain my rational. I a user currently wants to contribute to the manual, (s)he would have to get SVN access, eventually learn how to edit docbook, then ask someone to compile the manual to HTML or Javahelp (if we ever get there). Better option in my eyes: display a Wiki, user recognizes the lack of some chapter and edits the page. That's maybe 2 or 3 clicks away. > Thomas > > P.S.: BTW, it's issue 2768 where Andreas attached the patch. There Linus > suggests to commit it, too, so I say: +1 Aaaargh! Never got any mail notification about Linus' reply! SORRY! I'm +1 for committing the patch, or course. But I think I'm currently not in a position to decide that, so the currently leading developers should agree with the modification... > P.P.S.: Thread-Hijacker! ;-P =(:o)) I could add the wiki tab to the help action, so we would be back on your topic! ;-) Ciao, Andreas -- Der GMX SmartSurfer hilft bis zu 70% Ihrer Onlinekosten zu sparen!
