There does appear to be an issue with xdoclet that prevents build. I'll check again tomorrow night. Used to work, I swear.

Some suggestions:
1. Perhaps someone could update the documentation to explain the problem in http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15846 in order to avoid future confusion.
2. Is the fix from http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=15846 in? It seems fairly important to stability.
3. I still couldn't verify that the fix explained in http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=13600 works, because I have no working version of Phoenix 4.0.4. What I downloaded from CVS didn't build.
