Avalon is closing due to this kind of attriction-behavior.
There is no much point trying to argue about its closure now. Its done, it moved somewhere else. Lets go on with our lives.

There was no 'directive'. There was an opinion expressed by one member of the board - and as far as I understand the Apache Board hasn't rolled over and died just yet. Can you please post the vote results.
