I would actually discourage against bigger dependency updates such as
xstream 1.3 -> 1.4.
There was already some issues in xstream 1.4 so they had to do a
1.4.1.
However if there is an update like groovy 1.8.0 -> 1.8.1 we may
consider that.
Likewise I guess possible CXF 2.4.1 -> 2.4.2
+1 to upgrade to 2.4.2, so that the upcoming servicemix 4.4 release
can also pick up cxf 2.4.2

But yeah we should go over the JIRA tickets which has been fixed for
2.9 and backport bug fixes which can be easily backported.
I will update ServiceMix to include Camel 2.8.1.

Apache ActiveMQ 5.6.0 is upgrading to Apache Camel 2.8.x. And as we
have a bug fixed in 2.8.1, I would love that AMQ could upgrade and

2.8.1 instead of 2.8.0.
Likewise SMX 4.4 is to be released with Camel 2.8.0. And I guess it
would be great if SMX included 2.8.1.
There is not so often a new SMX release so it would be good if we
included an as most bug free version of 2.8 which would be 2.8.1
release.
