Hay Mazi,
Cam and I discussed this a bit the other day, and I would say that certain
metrics will have to modify the shape of a copy of the dataset in order to be
useful. As for #2, I don't see what we need the reshaped array for, so I would
just return the calculation results. But maybe someone else can chime in as to
the usefulness of returning the reshaped data.
