Yes, all the component POMs will need to be updated.

It's possible that there are consequential changes that need to be made as well.
There was a long thread about this a while back; I don't remember all
the details.

There are also Infra changes that have to be made.
Historically changes to some ASF website sources have needed manual
assistance, so there is potentially extra work for Infra as well the
edit to the file(s).

Unless it really, really is essential, why make the change?
