You surely seem to have some weired problems... A just happens to be the first letter in alphabetical sorting (with latin languages that is), that's why it appears first in list. Some of the vendors "support" OOo by contributing the metrics for their labels. Herlitz, Herma, Leitz, Zweckform just appear further down in the list. I really don't see a problem here.
