Provisioning email kind of notification functionality in a software system is
itself a big use case and this can be used to provide support to other use
cases as well e.g: SLA monitoring.

I and others has already mentioned earlier that if users write JMS consumers or
put Oozie based XML tags in the workflow for email notification of finished
Falcon instance, it will be painful and will not be considered as good user
experience. Also we should think from the users like Analyst etc. who wanted to
use Falcon (from UI) but they don't have knowledge of JMS/XML etc. So, how and
where, these users will write JMS consumers or put Oozie based XML tags inorder
to get email notification of finished instances.
It will be really good, if you provide your valuable inputs for this email
notification issue so that it will get leverage and form base for SLA
monitoring in future.
