[~ajayydv] : Thanks for providing the use case. But it looks like that your
use case is fit for SLA monitoring and the scope of this issue is to generate
email notification of finished workflow job. As you have asked question what
defines job, here job means hadoop based job within oozie action workflow.
For long running job or for job in suspended state, email notification will
only generate when hadoop based job in workflow action will reach to finished
state(failed/succeeded). Also AFAIK even for job submitted through Oozie, email
notification will only occur when job finished.
I am hoping, this will help you to understand the scope of the issue.
