Yes, I totally agree that listing all subprojects on the left is too much. I
guess even the list of all subprojects is too long for one menu.
If we want to highlight the multi-project nature, what about categorizing our
subprojects and listing the categories on the left, like framework, tools,
bundles - though I think that we would need something better than "bundles" :)
Just a random thought: We could also think about a new layout and make a three
column layout where we add a box on the right with all subprojects - like
http://incubator.apache.org
