First you need the "compendium" - the POT files - and the PO, which will be translated. :)

But i still dont know where the POT files came and how can i produce them.

For example, use some kind of way to make the POT out of the PT and EN SDF. I believe that this couldnt avoid the migration problem, which we're discussing.

I also downloaded translate-toolkit 0.8rc2.
How do I use it to convert an SDF file to PO and back?
